The weekend was pretty uneventful. I read a ton and a half of Star Trek: Voyager fic, which was fun, but I'm starting to get a little burned out on it. *grin* I figured out part of Alonzo's problem. He'd managed to get cat litter matted in the fur on the bottoms of his hind paws. I imagine it made the pads tender and walking a delicate business for him. I cleaned the cat litter off his paws for him, but he didn't appreciate it very much. I have the scratches and tooth marks to prove it. *grin*
Today was a little hectic. I had a dentist appointment at 8:30, which ended up not going through because we changed our dental insurance and the dentist wasn't sure what was covered under the new plan. It's been rescheduled for two weeks from now. I got to work about 45 minutes, but I'd called to let them know I would be late. Then I went to class (I missed the other because of my appointment, but some things can't be helped) and the teacher reminded us that we had a quiz. It wasn't too hard, but I was surprised anyway.
Then I talked to one of my co-workers and she told me my $500 deposit for the Holocaust study tour needed to be in SOON if I wanted to ensure a spot on the tour. I immediately set to work figuring out why my checkbook said one thing and the bank another. It turned out to be an error in simple arithmetic. *sheepish* Anyway, I figured out that I have enough money for the deposit and I'll get the rest somehow. Anyone got $2900 to spare? *grin*
