My Hero...

We think my cat may have had a stroke. He hasn't been moving around much lately and seems to be having trouble with both left paws. It was the left hind paw that I kept finding cat litter on and he would stick his left front paw in the water dish or food dish. filodea said he used the carpet for a toilet a couple times, too. He's content to just lay wherever he's put, too, so I had him in my lap for awhile, but he was in danger of falling, so I put him back on the couch. Now that we have idea what's wrong with him, we're hoping the vet can help.

The good news is that I called Dell (the company that made my laptop) and they sent me a replacement DVD-ROM drive. It arrived on Tuesday and I waited until I came home to replace it. So I now have a DVD-ROM drive that works and need to send the damaged one back to Dell. This is great because I didn't have to send my laptop away to be fixed, so I didn't lose the use of my laptop at all.

The next couple Star Trek: Voyager discs came in, so I'll have more screencaps this weekend. I like to know what I'm getting into, though, so I already know what's going to happen, but it doesn't take away from my enjoyment of them. *grin* I'll probably update Rebirth of the Order of the Phoenix soon. The chapter itself is finished, but I want to finish the chapter I'm currently working on before I update the story. No, I won't be posting all the finished chapters at once. I just like to have extra chapters ready to go.

I've been busy with work and school, as usual. However, I decided I couldn't keep up with my schoolwork and help out with the play as I've done in the past, so I'll only be ushering and probably only for one week. The director understands and told me to focus on school. She's so cool. *grin* I have also decided not to do summer school since I'll be going on the Holocaust study tour. I may also be coming down with a cold. I'm not sure. I was coughing more than usual earlier this week and had the sniffles earlier today.
