My Hero...

The school did a graduation check for me and said I still had two units of art or music credit to do. This puzzled me, as it was the first time I'd heard anything, so I visited Academic Services today. It turns out, the music class I took two years ago is only one unit, and I need to do three for my general education. The problem is, I'm already loaded up for the fall and the one class being offered that would take care of the two units has a pre-requisite that I, naturally, haven't taken. When I showed the woman I was talking with the plan I was following, she told me that I'm technically not supposed to be using the course catalog (it's the 2004-2005 one. I came in under the 2003-2004 one). When I asked how I would go about being officially under the '04-'05 one, she said I would have to fill out some paperwork, but the program I'm looking at is being chucked anyway, because most schools are looking for history or political science major students, not history/political science major or social science major students. So, there's a possibility I can't even do that. However, since it was a walk-in and not an actual appointment, she didn't have a chance to do any research. So, I set up an appointment with a different advisor so she can do some research for me and figure out my options. It's not until next Thursday, though, so I have a week to do some looking of my own. *groan* I so didn't need this now. Student Accounts (they're in charge of tuition) is going to go crazy because of me.

I have some good news, though: I finished my World War II story! *throws confetti and does happy dance* It still needs some polishing, but I'm quite pleased with it. Several ideas for other original stories have already popped up. *sigh* I wanted to work on fanfic, too. Of course, original stories are what will be most profitable for me in the long run, but I hate leaving stories unfinished. nerweniel, I tried to e-mail it to you, but it came back as undeliverable. Either the e-mail was too big or your inbox was full. You might want to check on that.
