My Hero...

...jiggity jig. I got home yesterday afternoon, but this is the first chance I've had to sit down and write a journal entry. Ah, well.

Over the three or so days, we watched 1776, Merlin, Pandaemonium, and various episodes of Gilmore Girls. We also did screencaps of A Tale of Two Cities and The Village and two RPs. All in all, a productive weekend. *grin*

At first, I wasn't sure I'd be able to go because filodea didn't want to drive me out there and back. Then pippinshire suggested I take the bus. At first, I said no, and then I thought about it and checked the web site for the bus system in her area. I figured out a way to get to her using only two buses.

It was a bit odd going through one of the cities because filodea grew up there and we still go there for one reason or another. filodea's mom lived there until she passed away eight years ago. Has it really been that long? filodea's sister still lives there, too, with her second husband (I guess I could call him my step-uncle, though I really don't). When we dropped pippinshire off at home after she spent a weekend with us, we saw him while we were having lunch.

I'm between stories at the moment. I've started writing the one I was planning before I started on Through the Clouds, but I think my creative juices have run dry for now. I'll just be patient and wait for inspiration.
