My Hero...

I stayed on campus this weekend because there was a writing seminar that I thought might help me with the three papers I have to write this semester. *sigh* Nope, it was all stuff I already know. However, I did run into a friend I hadn't seen since this summer because she's now in the graduate program and taking evening classes. We had lunch together in the caf and got caught up on things. I also told her about liking PK.

Anyway, when I got back, one of my roommates was watching Bride and Prejudice. As far as book adaptations, it wasn't too bad. I didn't see it from the beginning, but the part that I was saw was good. We watched the tail end of Blue Hawaii because Two Weeks Notice was on right after it. I didn't think I would like it (Two Weeks Notice), but I did. Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock were fantabulous together. It was on twice in a row, actually, but I went to bed. My roommmates started to watch Seed of Chucky, but ended up falling asleep. When they woke up, they turned it off and went to bed.

This morning, I talked with lacecravat and watched Hitch with Will Smith. I wasn't too sure about that one, either, but it cracked me up. The bloopers were great to watch. Will Smith is in his element when it comes to improv. *grin*

I actually went to lunch in the caf in the middle of it and sat outside because it was nice out and the caf was noisy. A bee came along and landed on my glass of Mountain Dew. I joined a friend at another table to get away from the bee. It followed me and landed on my glass again. I swear, it loved the soda! I finished eating and went back to my apartment. On my way back, I saw PK and we said hi and that was it because he was on his way to the caf for lunch. How is it that every time I see him, we're going opposite directions?

Obviously, the rest of the week wasn't very newsworthy. *grin*

ETA: My roommates watched Team America last night, not Seed of Chucky.
