I'm trying to be better about posting entries, but not much has been happening recently. I have been doing observations for my education class and dummy me has been avoiding getting a visitor's pass. Last Thursday, I got caught in a tardy sweep because I looked like a student. (Small for my age and lugging a backpack. I don't blame them.) Luckily, the person I ended up talking to after waiting in line for half an hour remembered me from when I attended so they sent me to get a visitor's badge.
I meant to go do more observation hours today, well, yesterday I suppose, but I've caught a cold from somewhere and stayed home and rested. I managed that so well that I'm not the least bit sleepy and it's almost 2:30 A.M. Something tells me I'm not going to class tomorrow. Thank goodness for e-mail. I can send the education assignment to the teacher and find out what I'll miss and e-mail the health science teacher, reassure her that I didn't get the cold from her (she was sick on Monday, but I was too and feeling a lot better than I did today), and e-mail a classmate to let her know I wouldn't be there. I was also able to e-mail the teacher I was supposed to be observing today, uh, yesterday, and he was very understanding and answered my questions.
I was watching a video with Hugh Laurie and he was speaking in his normal voice and
dollydani came in and watched a little with me. She's been watching House and commented that it was really weird to hear Hugh Laurie's accent. This cracked me up because I watched a lot of Jeeves and Wooster for a couple weeks and find it very weird to hear Hugh Laurie without the accent on House! *grin*
For the Numb3rs fans on my flist, I'm very happy with the development of Larry and Megan's relationship in the first two episodes. For the CSI fans, I've enjoyed the first two episodes and am definitely looking forward to the rest of the season. After I finish posting this entry, I'm going to go and try to get some sleep before the sun comes up.
I hate late nights.
