I went to the doctor about my stomach problems. He was really glad I did the food journal thing and suggested that my issues were actually caused by carbonated beverages. Which means no more soda for me, at least for the time being. *pouts* I think certain dairy products are also problems.
filodea bought some pills to help me digest those products. I need to be sparing with them, though. On top of this, I've developed a cold. I was sniffling and sneezing yesterday, with a sore throat. Today, I've started coughing. I really don't need this right now.
Classes are all right. We've been talking about Kabuki, Noh, and Bunraku plays in my Asian Civilizations class. Bunraku is a little like the Muppets, except the manipulators don't speak. That's all done by a narrator. The manipulators just have to coordinate their movements and it's brilliant when it's done well. I'm keeping up just fine in Trig. I have a paper for English that I have fricking idea what she wants us to write. The prompt just confuses me. *sigh* In the WWII class, we're still at the beginning of the war. We watched part of Mrs. Miniver, starring Greer Garson and Walter Pidgeon. I'm sorry, but Greer Garson will always be the mother from The Happiest Millionaire to me. *grin*
The trip to Bergamot went fine, but I wasn't feeling too great by the time we got home. I have to write the paper for that, too. *sigh* We have another trip this Saturday. I'm almost tempted to drop the class because it's so difficult for me to arrange transportation to LA. I can take the Metrolink, but it's frustrating when the teacher doesn't respond to my e-mails about it. You'd think she'd arrange for us to use school vehicles, given where we're going and all, but, no, we're responsible for getting to the places and back. *growls* At least with the trip to the Getty villa, we met regularly throughout the semester and had just the one trip to make and the teacher made sure everyone had a ride. *grumble*
