My Hero...

My apologies for not posting anything recently. School and work kept me busy during the week and my weekends were spent with proudpansy. Always fun times with her, regardless of whether we're exhausted or not. *grin* It does keep me away from my computer, which I need to spend less time with anyway.

So, my classes are going pretty well. I've gotten perfect scores so far on everything that I've turned in. Calc II is going to take up a lot of my time. It is taking up a lot of my time, to tell the truth. Though my computer class isn't going to be a walk in the park, either. Not that I'd want that. I prefer to be challenged so I learn anyway. Part of me wishes we'd ease into the 'being challenged' part. *wink*

Today, I had a legitimate reason for not posting earlier. The transformer that supplies electricity to our part of the neighborhood went 'splodey' around 11:30 this morning. This meant no power at all to the router that supplies us with our internet connection. So, we had no internet access. Obviously, the transformer has been fixed. That happened a little before 7:30 this evening. So we were without power for about eight hours. We managed without, but it led me to really think about how much rely on electricity.
