I went out this morning to put gas in my car. It was running low and I wanted to take care of it before I spent the money on something else. While I was at the gas station, I realized I didn't have my cell phone with me. No biggie, it was just a quick run to the gas station, right? Wrong!

After I got my gas and turned onto the street to come home, I noticed that the steering wheel kept pulling to the right. So I pulled into the parking lot of a little convenience store and took a look. The right front tire of my car was flat. *headdesk* And I didn't have my cell phone with me. Thankfully, there was a pay phone in front of the store, so I used that to call home and ask Dad to come help me. I'd never changed a tire before, so I had no clue what to do. While I was waiting, a guy that had parked next to me noticed my flat tire and asked if I needed help. No one else seemed to notice, let alone made a comment.

Dad came and I watched as he changed the tire so I'll know what to do the next time it happens. I'm lucky that I was pretty close to home this time. I may not be so lucky next time. Though I could just call AAA next time. I'd prefer to do it myself, though. It'll be cheaper. So now we'll need to replace that tire. I don't know how much that's going to cost.

Ugh.
