For my fellow Americans, I hope the holiday is a good one for you. For those of you who aren't American, I hope you have a good day anyway. :D

My parents' refinance application was denied as well. *sigh* Most of my money is going to pay for my dental work anyway. *grimace* The first appointment is in September and I'm not looking forward to it. But, it needs to be done. As a teacher, students are going to be looking at me and I don't want them looking at horrible teeth. *shudder*

I went back to work the 21st of June and it's been good. A little boring at times, but at least then I'm being paid. I'm reviewing Statistics during the lulls and it's coming back to me. Not much else has been happening. Dad's birthday is the 18th, but we'll be celebrating it a week early because my twin is going to be out of town that weekend.

Sometime in August, between the end of the summer semester and the start of the fall semester, proudpansy and I will be going to Disneyland. Yay! I know I'm looking forward to it. I don't know if she is. :D And myst_walker will be coming out for a short visit, too! *dances* I'm so excited!

I'd been meaning to do a layout for these two for some time, but I wanted a moodtheme to go with it, too. That took me awhile because I had so many screencaps to choose from. I finially finished it, though. The large picture in the banner is from the first Card Captor Sakura movie and the smaller pictures are all from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, both of which are based on mangas by CLAMP. They also did xxxHolic and Chobits, for those of you familiar with those manga/anime. Anyway, part of the reason I like these two characters is the fact that they're together in the series. It's not shoved in your face, but there can be no mistaking that there's more than friendship between them (unless you're watching the Americanized version of the anime. Apparently, they did a lot of editing for that). It's not just the fact that they're canon. The way they banter and tease each other (well, Yuki teases Touya, especially about the fact that he's the only one who can give Sakura a hard time) is fun and they just complement each other so well. I can't help liking them. For anyone who'd like a bit more information, here's the 'Ship Manifesto' for the pairing.
