My Hero...

It's here! My shiny new compy arrived last night at the store. Mom was nice enough to go with me to get it last night instead of waiting until this morning. Unfortunately, it didn't come with a wireless internet adapter, so I couldn't get on the internet with it. :P We had one already, but the driver wouldn't install properly (Mom thinks it was old enough that it was meant to be compatible with Windows XP or Vista instead of Windows 7. So Dad did some looking online and found one, so we went and got it. Except the store didn't have it, so they called another store in the area and they had one, so we went and got it. Turns out it wasn't exactly the one Dad wanted to get, but it was supposedly 'better'. Meaning it was more expensive. *sigh* We still got it because having internet access is kind of important these days. ;) Anyway, my compy is now connected to the Internet. I did all the updates and stuff. Now I'm just transferring my files from my laptop to this, then Mom can have the laptop to use instead of her netbook, which is too small (physically) for her.
