My Hero...

So, I found this post on Tumblr because I'm following the hornblower tag there and I'd love to write this myself, except I have no idea how to go about it. I did think of an embellishment, though: Sam West (as he looked in Cambridge Spies) as a wealthy benefactor of some kind (perhaps like Victor in Fantastic Four, without the villianous bent). Or more like Bruce Wayne: his company finances the R&D, Ioan Gruffud's the scientist doing the actual developing, Paul McGann is the military officer overseeing the testing of the project, and Jamie Bamber is the one doing the actual testing.
