I'm still around. Just been focusing on my writing. Which has been going so well that I finished the story and submitted it for the anthology call it was for. The deadline is July 31st, so I won't know until after then if it's been accepted. *sigh* There's another call for a different company entirely that's due September 15th that I'd really like to write something for. I have an idea for it already. We'll see if I can get it written in time. And there's another one for the same company that the one I just finished that's due September 30th that I have two ideas for. Not to mention my novel that I started last September. Why, no, I don't have a lot of ideas. What are you talking about? *innocent look*

I got a message from National yesterday informing me that my waived courses now show up on my Academic Advisement Report (AAR), which keeps track of the courses I need for my degree and whether they're finished, in progress, or still need to be taken. So, just for the hell of it, I checked the report. It showed that I'd completed all of the undergrad courses except one. And, my advisor had changed. So, I e-mailed both the old advisor and the new one to find out what's going on. Turns out my old advisor had been promoted (yay for her!) and her students had been transferred to the new one. I'd asked in my e-mail to her if there was any way around that one undergrad class because it's only offered online in November and May. If I need to take it before I start my grad classes, I won't be able to start my coursework until November. The new advisor said it looked like that particular class had been overlooked and she submitted a request to have that requirement waived along with the others. Which means I'll still be starting my Master's program in September. Cue HUGE sigh of relief. I'd have been willing to do an independent study or something in August to get that requirement out of the way if I had to, but this is better. I'm pretty sure one of my undergrad courses at CalBaptist fulfilled that requirement already.
