Me too. I've always thought that Dumbledore would die since I began reading the books. Harry has to be able to face Voldemort on his own. I'm very sad to see him go (even more so becasue of my AD/MM loyalties *sniff*), but I knew that it was necessary.
That's very true. It would have been nice for Dumbledore to survive the books, but Harry probably would have leaned on him too much. I just hope Harry goes back to Hogwarts in Book 7. I think he'd be stupid to go off without a full magical education.
Yeah. I think it would put him at a huge disadvantage. Plus, I'm sure everyone in the Order will try to talk him out of it. I know that Hermione and Ron will stick by him no matter what he chooses, but I really can't see Hermione skipping her 7th year. I think that they will go when the school reopens. But then again, I'm not the author. :-P

That's what I was thinking, but Dumbledore didn't exactly look like he was in the best of health from the start of the book. I'd like to know how he went about destroying the Horcrux in the ring. I'm willing to bet there's more to the situation than Harry knows and we'll find out in Book 7.
