Back from [livejournal.com profile] proudpansy's! I came back Sunday, but got distracted with other shinies these past couple days. The Emilie Autumn concert was fabulous. I'm so glad he saw the advertisement for it. *hugs him* We watched all of a Britcom called Bless Me, Father that was fricking hilarious. I love the British sense of humour. *fond smile* We watched Milo and Otis, too, and they were so adorable! Milo especially, but I've always loved cats anyway. *grin* We watched Ghost Adventures Saturday night and I had trouble staying asleep afterwards. I don't know if it's because of that or just because my body didn't want to stay asleep (it does that sometimes). We went to the mall on Sunday before I had to head back home. A very good visit, all in all.

Classes are going fine. I'll be going to see Comedy of Errors on the 22nd with my class and I'm looking forward to it. I can't wait to see how the situations are handled onstage. There doesn't seem to be many versions of it available on DVD. *pout* Though, one of them includes Dame Judi Dench (I've seen a clip) and it looks like it's decent. We watched another version in class and I've seen mixed reviews of it on Netflix. It was the same company that did the Much Ado About Nothing with Robert Lindsay and Cherie Lunghi that I wasn't impressed with (so flat!).

Oh! I got new glasses Sunday afternoon! I put them on and said, "Holy crap, I can SEE!" Considering it's been about five years since I last had my eyes checked, it was quite a change. I'm still getting used to them. The better vision is nice, but the frames are distinctly different from my old ones, so that's what I have to get used to.

This morning, I finally called the 4-year college I'm transferring to and got things straightened out so I could register for the spring quarter. I supposedly hadn't fulfilled the pre-requisite for the class I wanted to enroll in, so I had to get that cleared up. Then there was a hold on my account, so I had to take care of that (after being on hold with that office for what seemed like fucking forever), and I was finally put in the class! So I'll start that April 5th. Whoo! After May, I'll only be at the 4-year college. I'll be done at the 2-year. I'll also hopefully get a job on campus.

Is Bless me Father the one with the old and the young priest? Old priest played by the guy from dad's Army?
